Welcome to Deriva Films, based in Berlin. We are a new film production company with a unique perspective, combining the insights of two generations. Our goal is to create impactful fiction and non-fiction films/ series. Our team is dedicated to storytelling, blending creativity and professionalism. We focus on innovative projects, staying abreast of the latest market trends and technologies, including AI. This approach allows us to integrate modern techniques with classic storytelling traditions. Our current projects include a television documentary series, feature films, and documentaries, each showcasing our commitment to quality and originality. We have an international network spanning from Europe to Los Angeles, allowing us to collaborate globally and bring diverse stories to the screen. Marcus Goldhahn is a film producer and green consultant. He also worked as an author, journalist, photographer, and short film director. Born in Erfurt, he studied economics and has written articles for numerous German and Swiss papers and magazines. Marcus gathered his first experiences as a documentary filmmaker for a German singer/songwriter. Among the drummer from Pearl Jam Dave Krusen and members from the Band Blind Melon, he filmed in a studio in Nashville there recording. Since 2011, he has worked in various departments on television drama and series like NACKT UNTER WÖLFEN, BETONRAUSCH, SAVE ME, BUMPER IN BERLIN, DIE THERAPIE and independent feature films like ZUM GEBURSTAG, HERERT, STILLSTEHEN, and THE JUDGMENT. He was also a junior producer in international film and series projects. Among other things, in preparation for the German-Italian co-production "Crescendo", the tax handling of "Suspiria" and a VR project by Terra Mater Studios. Furthermore, he produced and directed numerous short film projects and wrote some himself. As a forward-thinking green consultant, Marcus is committed to shaping the future of sustainability in the film industry. Embracing innovation and pushing boundaries, he seeks out cutting-edge solutions that prioritize environmental and social responsibility. With a keen eye on emerging trends and technologies, Marcus is dedicated to pioneering new approaches that will drive meaningful change in the years to come.

Tim began his career in the film industry as an actor in 2010 at the age of 11. Starting with several short films, he played the lead role in the ARD feature film "Die Konfirmation" in 2015. After that he discovered that he was more interested in workin as a director. After several internships with major productions in the directing field such as "Alles oder Nichts" or at Uwe Bünker's casting studio, he began an apprenticeship as a media designer at ARRI Media in post-production, which he completed at BASIS Postproduktion. Here, on productions such as "DARK", "1899", "Babylon Berlin", "Kangaroo Chronicles", "Schachnovelle" and many more, he acquired a great technical foundation for film production and knows what matters on the set.
